Classes will draw on Jude’s training in the Grotowski Method, her work with Steven Berkoff
plus her thirty-five years as a professional actor and director for stage & screen.
Richard Link (Musical Director and Singing Tutor) has spent many years coaching & playing
internationally throughout Canada, San Francisco, Italy, Paris and in the UK. Here in London he teaches at Italia Conti, Pineapple Performing Arts & The Actor’s Centre.
In the last year Jude & Richard have worked together at the Roundhouse with their original production of 'Medea' at the Hackney Empire with their new musical piece 'Itinerants' and are currently running courses for professionals in 'Cabaret and the Weimar Republik' at the Actor's Centre, London, WC1.
David Sibley worked for nearly 40 years with directors such as Sir Richard Eyre, Max Stafford-Clark, Jonathan Kent, Alan Clark, Ron Howard, Sir Richard Attenborough, George Lucas and John Schlesinger. He spent a year working with George Lucas and Ron Howard as Ron Howard’s assistant in England, New Zealand and California on the film ‘Willow’.
David is also Head of Development at independent film company Panoramic Pictures.
Acting Intensive: The Course
Through group improvisation, shadow moves, text exploration, creative movement
and solo and harmony singing will help you to:

Acting Intensive
Students arrive Wednesday evening for a welcome group dinner.
Thursday and Friday are full rehearsals days with Saturday off to explore
the local markets or the local Chateaux, which sell fine wines -
or maybe take a day trip into Bordeaux?
Sunday – Monday we are back to work with a full rehearsal schedule,
culminating in a workshop performance and our farewell dinner on the final evening.
After breakfast we depart for home.

10 -11am: Vocal and Physical warm ups
11 - 1pm: Rehearsals
1 - 2pm: Lunch
2 - 3.30pm: Individual Study or Relaxation Time
3:30 – 4pm: Tea
4 - 6.30pm: Group Exploration and Rehearsal
7 - 9pm: Dinner
Screen Acting Sessions
The morning sessions will be practical scene study from contemporary and classic screenplays,
exploration & analysis of big acting moments in films: Five Easy Pieces, Mulholland Drive, Twenty-One Grams, etc.
Late afternoon sessions, will be one-on-one with tutor and groups sessions creating your own movie through improvisation and screen writing exercises.
